SpeedBuilder Systems (Columbia, S.C.) has released FormMaker 2.0, the latest version of its insurance document automation solution for property/casualty insurers.
FormMaker is integrated with Microsoft Word and SpeedBuilder’s BindExpress Suite, according to a company statement. The product is designed to let insurers create, edit and maintain policy forms without relying on software developers or IT resources.
SpeedBuilder says FormMaker 2.0 is intended to address the complexity of maintaining insurance forms, including frequent product updates, changing regulations and state-specific filing requirements.
“Form and document management remains one of the biggest operational challenges for insurers,” comments Rod Giess, President and Founder, SpeedBuilder Systems. “FormMaker 2.0 gives carriers greater control over their documents, reduces dependence on IT, and helps them respond more quickly to regulatory and product changes.”
The new version includes a redesigned interface, enhanced editing and formatting tools, improved search and navigation, configurable keyboard shortcuts, better image handling and flexible PDF generation. SpeedBuilder says the enhancements are intended to help users produce data-driven insurance documents more efficiently and accurately.
Making Insurers More Agile
“Technology should make insurers more agile, not more dependent on technical resources,” comments Giess. “FormMaker 2.0 reflects our commitment to delivering practical solutions that improve operational efficiency while giving insurers greater flexibility and control.”
By allowing business analysts to manage forms within Microsoft Word, FormMaker 2.0 is designed to reduce implementation costs, accelerate document updates and free IT teams to focus on strategic initiatives.
SpeedBuilder’s BindExpress Suite includes policy administration, rating, automated underwriting, agent and consumer portals, product configuration, billing, claims, workflow and document generation components.
