Insuresoft (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) has launched Diamond AI, a suite of three AI capabilities built directly into its Diamond core platform for P&C insurers and MGAs.

The suite includes Diamond Chat, Brilliance and Workflow Orchestrator. Of the three, Brilliance is already supporting live customer implementations, according to Insuresoft.

Brilliance is an AI-powered implementation accelerator that ingests source documents including filings, rates and rules, identifies inconsistencies, generates clarification questions and produces configuration information required to bring products live on Diamond.

“There’s going to be a lot of talk about AI at ITC this year, but what makes this genuinely different is that Brilliance is already doing real implementation work with customers,” comments Ronnie Moorehead, Associate Director of Software Development, Insuresoft. “We’re moving beyond AI as a pilot or proof of concept and using it to increase the speed of implementation and go-lives on work that has traditionally been done manually.”

Three Embedded AI Capabilities

Diamond Chat is an internal AI assistant for underwriting, policy and claims teams. It is designed to help users find information across policy, claims and risk data and identify areas that may require further review.

Ronnie Moorehead, Associate Director of Software Development, Insuresoft.

Insuresoft says Diamond Chat is currently intended for internal users, with AI-generated responses reviewed by trained professionals before information reaches a customer.

Workflow Orchestrator automates repetitive, multi-step processes triggered by events within Diamond, with human review built into points where decisions or intervention are required.

Insuresoft says it developed the suite with an emphasis on data privacy and maintaining human oversight where judgment is required. The company positions the capabilities as a way to reduce manual work across implementation, underwriting and claims while helping users access information and complete repetitive processes more quickly.

“AI in insurance is moving quickly, but we’re not approaching it as a blank slate,” Moorehead adds. “We’re applying more than three decades of experience implementing core systems to introduce AI in the areas where it delivers a clear, practical benefit for customers, with the right controls in place around how it’s used.”

Insuresoft will showcase Diamond AI at ITC Vegas 2026, Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Diamond is in production with more than 30 insurers and MGAs and processes more than $3 billion in commercial and personal lines premium annually, according to Insuresoft.
