Crux Underwriting (London), an independent, team-owned multi-line specialty MGA, has launched a refreshed version of CruxHub, enabling brokers to submit, quote and bind terrorism risks online in minutes.

Mike O’Connor, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, Crux Underwriting.

CruxHub is the broker-facing experience built on the MGA’s core underwriting platform. Terror is the first product available through the refreshed platform, with a Wind Deductible Buy Down product scheduled to follow.

Crux says the platform is built around a single connected workflow that captures information once and carries it through the risk lifecycle, with the aim of reducing manual administration and supporting more consistent underwriting decisions.

“Terrorism is a high-volume class in an increasingly volatile world,” comments Mike O’Connor, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, Crux Underwriting. “The refreshed version of CruxHub helps brokers quote and bind Terror risks in minutes while creating the efficiencies needed to support additional and alternative distribution.”

Extending Digital Distribution

Crux positions the platform as a way to create a single view of risk across submission intake, underwriting, pricing, claims and portfolio management.

The company says those efficiencies can also support additional distribution opportunities and bring new sources of premium into the London market.

Future releases will expand CruxHub beyond new-business trading, with additional products and functionality planned.
