Zurich Taps ISO’s ClaimDirector for Earlier Fraud Detection

ISO ClaimDirector’s claims scoring system helps Zurich’s antifraud team to sort through thousands of claims quickly.

Zurich in North America’s special investigatons unit (SIU) has adopted the latest version of ISO’s ClaimDirector fraud analytics services to better protect customers and dected potentially fraudulent claims earlier in the claims process, according to Dan Franzetti, senior VP, Claims Technical Shared Services, Zurich North America.

“Ultimately, this tool helps Zurich’s ability to increase early detection of potential fraud, and this reduces loss costs associated with fraudulent claims,” Franzetti comments.

ISO ClaimDirector’s claims scoring system helps distinguish between meritorious and suspicious claims, helping Zurich’s antifraud team to sort through thousands of claims quickly, flagging potentially fraudulent ones for further attention by the SIU, according to an ISO statement. ISO is a member of the Verisk Insurance Solutions group of Jersey City, N.J.-based Verisk Analytics.

Brian Wilson, head of Zurich North America’s SIU says the carrier is, “committed to fighting fraud and protecting its customers.” He adds, “The use of ISO’s ClaimDirector is another fine example of our continuous focus on delivering superior service.”
