Zurich Insurance Group has expanded its use of Hearsay Social’s social media management platform, following a pilot program conducted in Germany. Zurich will expand what it calls its social business program to Austria, Spain and other European countries that the carrier declines to specify.
“We are proud of the successes we have seen working with Hearsay Social in Germany, which we have now expanded to other countries in Europe,” says Michael Holzapfel, digital strategist at Zurich Germany. “Through the social business program so far, we have been able to drive marketing.”
Through the program, Zurich agents use Hearsay Social to compliantly share thought leadership content and build relationships with customers and prospective customers across the social networks, according to a Hearsay Social statement. The vendor asserts that sharing content helps agents stay top of mind with their customers and reach out at just the right time.
