Xperdoc (Peabody, Mass.) and e-SignLive by Silanis (Montreal) have entered into a partnership to ingrate e-signature capabilities into the Xpertdoc customer communications management (CCM) platform and native app for Windows phone. The integration will help insurance carriers streamline customer communications that require secure delivery, signature and storage, including business applications, beneficiary change forms and claims documents, and will speed up transaction times while ensuring security and regulatory compliance, an e-SignLive by Silanis statement asserts.
Xpertdoc chose to integrate e-SignLive e-signatures as part of its CCM offering because of the company’s significant market share and expertise in the insurance industry, as well as the solution’s proven ability to enhance the security of e-signed transactions, according to the e-SignLive by Silanis statement.
“The combination of two very modern technologies makes for a robust integration, providing a seamless, end-to-end transactional experience for customers that drives high adoption,” comments Francis Dion, CEO, Expertdoc. “This is great news for the industry as it looks at harnessing the speed and power of digitalization, creating convenience for the customer and efficiency gains for the carrier.”
Convenience in Completing Transactions
With multi-distribution sales channel including the need to support independent brokers, carriers are looking for technologies that provide customers with a modern front-end while also integrating with legacy back-end systems, according to Tommy Petrogiannis, CEO, e-SignLive by Silanis. “This technology partnership provides carriers with the ability to offer their clients and brokers the convenience of completing business transactions anytime, from anywhere on any device, driving high adoption while creating efficiencies,” he comments.
e-SignLive by Silanis touts its solution as providing the strongest legal protection in the event of a dispute because it gathers both document-level and process-level evidence and embeds the audit trail directly into the document. e-SignLive also enables insurers and brokers to uphold regulatory and compliance requirements through workflow rules, and maintain vendor independence by enabling the application of an organization’s own retention policies and secure storage, the vendor asserts.
