WTW Names Michelle Cui Director, Insurance Consulting and Technology Business

Cui has extensive carrier experience, with expertise in pricing, predictive analytics, and product development for both commercial and personal lines.

WTW (London), a global advisory, broking and solutions company, announced the appointment of Michelle Cui as Director, Actuarial Property & Casualty, in the firm’s Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. In her new role, Cui will be responsible for contributing to the development of WTW P&C product and service offerings while also serving clients.

Cui joins WTW from Zurich North America (Schaumburg, Ill.), where she served as vice president and actuarial director. Her career also includes actuarial and leadership roles at the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS, Denver) and Allstate Insurance Company (Northbrook, Ill.), specializing in pricing, predictive analytics, and product development for both commercial and personal lines. A WTW statement on Cui’s appointment says her experience in both advisory and insurance industry roles will be great assets in bringing value-add business solutions to WTW’s clients.

Cui received her MS in Mathematics and Economics from Illinois State University. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Based in Chicago, Cui will report to Senior Director, Jeff Van Kley.
