WTW (London) has introduced Radar AI Assistant, a natural-language capability within Radar Vision, its performance and experience monitoring tool for insurers.

Radar AI Assistant is designed to help pricing, underwriting, claims and portfolio management teams identify emerging issues and patterns in portfolio data, explain likely drivers and translate those findings into recommended pricing and underwriting actions.

The capability is embedded within Radar Vision rather than offered as a separate application. WTW says it has incorporated insurance-specific expertise from its consulting organization into the assistant to improve the relevance of its analysis and recommendations.

“A single emerging risk signal may be too weak to justify action,” comments Pardeep Bassi, Global Proposition Leader in Data Science, Insurance Consulting and Technology, WTW. “Radar AI Assistant, guided by insurance expertise, can consolidate multiple early indicators into a clearer, more credible view that supports confident action ahead of competitors reliant on isolated signals.”

Bassi says the capability is intended to put that analysis directly in the hands of underwriters and portfolio managers without requiring additional tools or reports.

Radar AI Assistant forms part of WTW’s broader AI strategy for Radar, which supports pricing, underwriting and claims workflows for personal and commercial lines insurers. WTW reports that more than 500 insurers use the Radar platform worldwide.
