WoodmenLife has implemented iPipeline’s (Exton, Pa.) Illustration Integrator with the vendor’s iGO e-App to provide its sales representatives with a unified selling experience, according to a vendor statement.

Denise McCauley, EVP, COO, WoodmenLife.

iPipeline’s Illustration Integrator allows WoodmenLife’s reps to enjoy an automated selling experience by re-using external calculations to generate an illustration PDF, which is sent directly to iGO e-App for agent use, according to the vendor. The insurer is also using the disconnected option to improve rep mobility and support the selling process in the field. Address and bank validation options help to achieve a high rate of applications in Good Order.

“After considering a range of options, our decision to implement iPipeline’s solution was based on their extensive industry experience and solid record of success in helping other carriers to achieve new efficiencies by reducing NIGOs to increase policy placements,” comments Denise McCauley, EVP, COO, WoodmenLife. “With the help of iPipeline, the recent launch of our My Choice IUL product was highly successful and is already producing positive returns. This project has allowed WoodmenLife to offer an IUL application experience that is 100% digital. iPipeline has delivered a level of flexibility and value, which is not easily matched in this marketplace.”

Larry Berran, CEO, iPipeline.

iPipeline describes SSG Digital as an end-to-end/quote-to-claim core platform designed to enable the life insurance and financial services industry to automate and simplify all new business, administration, and in-force management tasks to achieve desirable business outcomes.

“The ability to leverage existing illustration investments offers new efficiencies to carriers and their agents. In this instance, via WoodmenLife’s Web services, we accessed their existing illustration system and used resident data to generate an illustration PDF for integration with iGO e-App,” comments Larry Berran, CEO, iPipeline. “Given the persistently low interest rates, carriers are seeking to lower costs, improve agent productivity, and grow. The combination of Illustration Integrator with our e-App represents just one example of how iPipeline is providing carriers with flexible solutions to reduce NIGO rates and the number of paper applications submitted by agents while optimizing their existing illustration investments.”
