Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, a Winnipeg, Manitoba–based property/casualty mutual insurance company, and Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) have announced that Wawanesa has successfully deployed Guidewire Cloud to drive service, innovation, and growth, according to joint statement from the companies. A Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Digital customer since 2010, Wawanesa originally implemented Guidewire services in a self-managed, on-premise deployment model. Wawanesa’s integration of Guidewire Cloud will enable the insurer to provide excellent service to its brokers and members, power its core business, simplify IT operations, and adapt more quickly to changing market demands, according to the statement.
