Vlocity (San Francisco), Salesforce.com’s insurance vertical functionality partner, has formed an alliance with consulting, technology and outsourcing firm Infosys (Bangalore) to deliver cloud-based omnichannel customer experiences for insurance and other industries. Infosys will become a Strategic Services Partner for Vlocity Communications and Vlocity Insurance, Vlocity industry cloud apps that tap the omni-channel capabilities of the Salesforce Customer Success Platform.
Under the terms of the alliance, Infosys clients will be able take full advantage of Vlocity’s cloud and mobile software that embed industry-specific functionality and processes for the telecommunications, insurance, health insurance and public sector industries, according to a Vlocity statement.
