At its annual Accelerate, powered by NetVU user group conference, held this year held in Charlotte, N.C., Vertafore (Denver) unveiled a slate of major product enhancements and strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing insurance distribution through integrated platforms, workflow automation, and embedded artificial intelligence (AI). Speaking to a packed audience of agents, MGAs, carriers, and partners, Vertafore CEO Amy Zupon emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to innovation and industry transformation.

“Vertafore is your partner for the future,” Zupon declared. “We are investing more than ever in our solutions—reimagining how technology can simplify your work, unlock data, and power a connected insurance experience.”

James Thom, Chief Product Officer, Vertafore.

AgencyOne Goes Live

Chief Product Officer James Thom announced that major updates to AgencyOne, Vertafore’s flagship integrated platform for independent agencies, were now live—and already in active use. The platform consolidates tools for client management, quoting, renewals, and policy insights into a single interface. New features include:

  • Client Central for a 360-degree customer view
  • Client Search with intelligent query functions
  • Home Dashboard for personalized priorities
  • Global Navigation for seamless app transitions

“AgencyOne is a game changer,” said Thom. “We’re empowering teams with best-of-breed technology in one integrated platform.”

Customer feedback underscored its real-world impact. “AgencyOne is going to bring our team members together,” said Nichole Rich, Systems Trainer, Moody Insurance Agency. “It really makes it feel like a family.”

Rachelle Yoder, IT Director, Hummel Group, echoed the sentiment: “The Universal Search alone is going to save so much time. We just brought three clicks down to one.”

Project Impact: Aiming for Two-Hour Daily Time Savings

Zupon also updated attendees on Project Impact, Vertafore’s initiative to reduce administrative burdens on agency service staff. “We’ve already delivered more than 30 enhancements that save up to 45 minutes per day per servicer,” she said. “We expect to hit one hour by year-end and are targeting two hours by Accelerate 2026.”

Key improvements include streamlined document management, auto-filing into ImageRight, and backend automation. Amber Troyer of Hummel Group remarked, “Having the Project Impact team empathize made our team feel validated… They care about the people behind the product.”

MGA & Wholesale Expansion: Surefyre Acquisition

Vertafore reaffirmed its heavy investment in the MGA and wholesale segment, a market it now serves with over 18,000 programs generating $15 billion in premium—accounting for more than 40 percent of the entire segment.

The acquisition of Surefyre, a modern underwriting and portal solution, has supercharged this effort, according to a vendor statement. MGAs using Surefyre report:

  • 90% faster quoting
  • 2.5 hours saved per submission
  • 44% growth in 12 months

“We’re not just observing the MGA boom,” Thom said. “We’re powering it.”

AgencyZoom Scales Up

Zupon shared milestones for AgencyZoom, Vertafore’s growth enablement tool. Now used by over 5,000 agencies—including 34 of the top 100 brokers—AgencyZoom supports organizations ranging from boutique firms to enterprises with 16,000+ employees.

She highlighted its tighter integration with AMS360 via AgencyOne and new enterprise-grade features for large, distributed agencies. “AgencyZoom has become a go-to solution for networks and associations,” Zupon said.

AI Everywhere: From Insight to Automation

Vertafore also showcased its next wave of AI innovation, reinforcing its head start in the space. Beyond predictive analytics (via RISC-MATCH), the company previewed:

  • AgencyOne Insights, surfacing client trends using AI
  • Benefits plan AI, reducing entry time from 45 to 5 minutes
  • ReferenceConnect AI, launching later this year to enable smart queries across a vast knowledge base

Thom emphasized a three-pronged approach to AI: improving productivity, fueling customer growth, and reinventing insurance operations. “With AI, the possibilities are endless. It’s not about launching one thing—it’s about infusing it everywhere,” he said.

Market Footprint & Future Outlook

With more than five decades of service, Vertafore’s scale remains formidable. The company supports tens of thousands of agencies, MGAs, and carriers, and continues to grow under the ownership of Roper Technologies, the 23rd largest software company globally.

Zupon closed by celebrating the power of community: “Vertafore exists for the sole purpose of powering the independent agency channel. What you do matters—and we’re proud to be your partner.”
