Verisk Adds New Solutions to the Duck Creek Platform

Duck Creek customers will have access to Coverage Verifier for coverage history data, and A-Plus for contributing property and auto claims data to obtain loss run reports on prospective risks.

Verisk (Jersey City, N.J. ), a provider of data analytics to the insurance industry, and Duck Creek Technologies (Boston), a provider of core system solutions for the property/casualty insurance industry, announced today additional Verisk underwriting solutions, available on Duck Creek’s Content Exchange, that the vendors say will enable insurer customers to easily access robust data on applicants’ previous coverage and loss history.

Among the newly available solutions, Coverage Verifier, is designed enable insurers using Duck Creek solutions to seamlessly submit auto coverage history data to Verisk and gain access to tools to verify coverages of policyholders. Another Verisk solution newly available on the Duck Creek, A-PLUS, aims to enable the core system vendor’s insurer customers to easily contribute property and auto claims data to Verisk and obtain loss run reports with detailed claim histories on risks they’re looking to insure.

Prior to these solutions being made available on the Duck Creek platform— set to launch in the Duck Creek Content Exchange during the first quarter of 2020—Duck Creek customers have had access to a range of Verisk tools through the Content Exchange, including detailed information on the relative risk of vehicles, the replacement costs for specific homes, and telematics data from consenting drivers for usage-based insurance programs.
