Vantis Life Insurance Company, a life insurance provider for mid-market and emerging affluent consumers, has announced the promotion of Raquib Choudhury to Vice President of Information Technology.
In his new role, Choudhury overseeing all of Vantis Life’s information technology practices, including acting as the touch point for the company’s recently launched accelerated underwriting and direct-to-customer services. Choudhury will continue to oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and security of its on-line and intranet platforms, capabilities that Vantis Life reports he helped establish when first joining the company fourteen years ago.

Choudhury joined Vantis Life in 2004 as a systems analyst, and has been held the role of Assistant Vice President since 2016, as well as Chief Information Security Officer since Oct. 2017. He recently earned a cyber risk management certificate from Harvard Business School, which supplements his undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer science from Eastern Connecticut State University and Central Connecticut State University, respectively.
