US Assure Completes National Rollout of MajescoMastek STG Billing

Rollout to the program administrator’s 50,000 strong agent and broker network caps an initiative that involved a nine-month implementation from conception to go-live, largely owing to the vendor’s private cloud deployment capability.

US Assure, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based insurance program administrator, has completed a nationwide rollout of MajescoMastek’s STG Billing. The application went live six months ago and has been extended to include US Assure’s network of over 50,000 agents and brokers. US Assure is currently issuing 30,000 statements per month and taking full advantage of the solution’s self-service agent portal and electronic bill payment and presentment capabilities, according to a vendor statement.

The implementation of the STG Billing solution is a key milestone achievement in US Assure’s strategic initiative to diversify operations and ensure the core operating environments are state-of-the-art, according to a joint vendor/client statement. These key initiatives, while enabling direct billing, have also increased and expanded the portfolio of service offerings to US Assure’s carriers and clients, the statement says.

MajescoMastek reports that what it calls an accelerated nine-month implementation from decision to production was enabled in significant measure by the vendor’s private cloud deployment. That approach eliminated the challenges normally associated with new system configuration, infrastructure, integration, and overall technical support, MajescoMastek asserts.

“Given our new capabilities with STG Billing, we are experiencing an increased interest from carriers and brokers looking to join our network,” comments Ryan Schwartz, chief marketing officer, US Assure. “With the modern MajescoMastek technology in place, we are able to expand more quickly and easily by adding new products and services to offer our clients.”

As a result of the  STG Billing deployment, US Assure enjoys the ability to:

  • streamline processes and increase automation;
  • offer electronic bill payment and payment installment options for Builders Risk Plan, Contractors Equipment, and other lines of business; and
  • provide agents access via the secure online portal to obtain all essential information including commission statements, EFT payment information and policy billing transactions.

MajescoMastek worked closely with US Assure’s accounting, IT and business departments during the nine-month period from conception to production, according to Steve Bristow, VP, Assure, whom the joint statement describes as a key member of the implementation team. “Throughout the process, the MajescoMastek team has been very committed to delivering the solution within budget and in line with our target go-live date,” he comments. “MajescoMastek has proven to be a strong partner and we look forward to continuing to deepen our relationship with their organization and suite of products in the future.”
