Unum UK Appoints Will Major as Chief Change Officer

The 13-year Prudential PLC veteran assumes the new role alongside a fivefold increase of investment in growth initiatives.

Unum UK (Dorking, Surrey) has named Will Major as its Chief Change Officer, as the employee benefits provider aims to strengthen its leadership team to support company growth. The newly created position sees Major join from Prudential PLC (London) where he was previously Chief Transformation Officer of the company’s Africa division and led the implementation of “Pulse by Prudential,” a digital health, wealth, and SME ecosystem, across eight markets in the region.

Major’s mission will be to deliver sustainable and long-term growth by partnering with brokers to reinforce Unum UK’s market position as a high quality, specialist provider of key employee benefits and wellbeing solutions, according to a statement from the company.

News of the appointment coincides with Unum UK announcing that it will be multiplying its investment in growth driven initiatives across core markets by a factor of.
