UgCS (Universal ground Control Software; Riga, Latvia) has introduced the Telemetry Sync tool, which makes flight and maintenance logs, custom checklists and reports from the popular flight log website DroneLogbook conveniently accessible to all UgCS users.
UgCS reports that The Telemetry Sync tool was created in response to demand from drone operators flying with UgCS to be able to store their telemetry data not only locally on a computer, but also in the cloud. In addition to providing operators with comprehensive flight logging, DroneLogbook.com also allows users to manage maintenance logs and generate custom checklists, according to the vendor.
DroneLogbook is also useful in ensuring regulatory and legal compliance with the law by allowing users to check the status of controlled airspace before planning a drone mission and generating reports in accordance with the requirements of aviation authorities such as the FAA, CAA, CASA and CAD, UgCS says .
The vendor’s recently updated Telemetry Player tool records all flight telemetry data, enabling users to replay and analyze each drone’s flight path and the videos recorded by the drone. The application’s synchronisation feature—which is available free of charge—is an effective tool both for individual drone operators and for enterprises with large drone fleets, as it allows to store all data in one place, even if multiple laptops are being used for drone mission control, according to UgCS.
