Tony Cid Named Head of Intellect SEEC’s Commercial Insurance Business

Cid will be responsible for managing global sales for Commercial Insurance and will also provide strategic direction to Intellect SEEC’s Product Management group.

Intellect Design Arena Limited, a Chennai, India-based financial services software vendor, has named Tony Cid head of Commercial Insurance for the company’s insurance division, Intellect SEEC (Jersey City, N.J.). Cid will be responsible for managing global sales for Commercial Insurance and will also provide strategic direction to Intellect SEEC’s Product Management group.

Cid, who recently held the position of Head of US Middle Market, QBE North America (New York), brings extensive experience in property & casualty with both domestic and multi-national insurers. He has held leadership roles in underwriting, distribution, finance and operations and has proven expertise in transformations, building and managing successful organizations, according to an Intellect SEEC statement. Cid has participated in public offerings and has worked closely with private equity on acquisitions and divestitures.
