Stewart Information Services (Houston), a global title insurer and real estate services company, has named Brad Rable CIO. Rable, whose past roles include CIO and chief strategy officer for AIG/United Guaranty, will lead Stewart’s IT transformation and have responsibility for the firm’s technology vision, strategy and action.

Rable most recently served as an executive partner with Gartner Executive Programs where he worked with C suite and information technology senior executives, providing organizations with tools and insights to deliver exceptional business results, according to a statement from Stewart. Earlier, he served as executive vice president, chief information officer and chief strategy officer for AIG/United Guaranty where he led the technology and product development divisions as well as the innovation team that launched the AIG Mortgage Advisory Company.
