The Co-Operators Deploys Equisoft WealthElements and Client Portal

The financial needs analysis tools will support the insurance group’s client engagement priority by providing choices for how clients can interact with the organization.

The Co-operators Group (Guelph, Ontario), a Canadian cooperative that offers home, auto, life, group, travel, commercial and farm insurance, as well as investment products, has announced that it has the successfully implemented Equisoft’s (Montreal) WealthElements suite and Client Portal module. The Co-operators reports that these new needs analysis tools allow its network of financial advisors to provide an innovative and client-centric experience when discussing a client’s life and wealth needs. The deployment also represents the first time the Client Portal will be used by a financial institution to increase collaboration between advisors and clients.

Equisoft describes WealthElements as a web-based planning solution designed to streamline and optimize advisor workflows at every step of the life and wealth discussion. The application uses a set of advanced sales, compliance and engagement toolsets that integrate seamlessly with a firm’s existing platforms to develop a personalized plan. The vendor describes Client Portal module as a mobile-friendly, investor-facing tool that utilizes robo-technology and allows clients to enter information—such as net worth, cashflow and financial objectives—and engage advisors when they’re ready. Together, WealthElements and the Client Portal support the delivery of a secure online financial needs analysis experience to investors, according to the vendor.
