The Andover Companies, a personal and commercial lines insurer based in Andover, Mass., has selected ISCS’s (San Jose, Calif.) cloud-based enterprise suite to serve as the foundation for the carrier’s modernization and automation initiative. The suite will be delivered as a complete, managed SaaS solution via ISCS’s SurePackage deployment option, according to a vendor statement.

Established in 1828, The Andover Companies provides affordable insurance products to homeowners, landlords and business owners. The carrier operates exclusively through independent agents in eight states in the U.S. Northeast and Midwest, and differentiates itself from competitors through high-quality customer service and claims support to its agents and policyholders.

The carrier’s business strategy required a new software platform that could continue to support its mission of being the carrier of choice with its agency partners. The Andover Companies chose SurePower Innovation for its modern architecture, in order to support the carrier’s positioning for future growth and enhanced service capabilities, according to the vendor.

Cultural Fit

“We launched a comprehensive search for new software that would build upon our outstanding relations with our independent agents,” commens Stephen E. Randall, VP, The Andover Companies. “What we found with ISCS was not only an outstanding enterprise suite that was completely pre-integrated, but a cultural fit that dovetailed neatly with our service philosophies.”
