SYNNEX Acquires Minacs to Integrate with Concentrix

The acquisition of The Minacs Group Pte will strengthen customer engagement vendor Concentrix’s domain expertise in a variety of areas, including insurance.

SYNNEX, a Fremont, Calif.-based business process services vendor, has completed its acquisition of The Minacs Group Pte (Farmington Hills, Mich.), which will be integrated into its Concentrix business segment. The new combined Concentrix organization will have more than 90,000 Concentrix staff providing services in over 40 languages from 125 delivery centers across six continents, SYNNEX reports. Minacs will continue doing business under its existing name for approximately three months until the rebranding to Concentrix is completed.

“The addition of Minacs’ Marketing Optimization and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions with Minacs’ proprietary technology provide us with additional opportunities to serve clients across our ten industry verticals, including insurance,” Miller affirms. “Our competence in optimizing market opportunities and our dynamic IoT presence will allow us to expand our offerings and support in the insurance market, enabling us to transform carrier engagements from dated silos of lines of business to flexible, customer-focused end-to-end client life cycles.”

Deep Domain Expertise

Concentrix president Chris Caldwell characterizes the acquisition as adding diverse and talented staff with a complementary market footprint and deep domain expertise which will enhance the company’s value proposition to clients. “The acquisition of Minacs continues to build on our vision of being the greatest customer engagement company.”

A Concentrix statement says that the acquisition strengthens the company’s position as a Top 10 global provider, provides greater scale and capabilities in a variety of industries and enhances its technology solutions and platforms.
