Sun Microsysems Co-Founder Scott McNealy Joins GloveBox as Board Advisor

McNealy’s appointment comes as phase two of the GloveBox app is under development and the vendor has secured multiple new insurance carrier clients.

GloveBox, a Denver-based InsurTech has announced that Scott McNealy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle in 2010), has joined its board of directors.  GloveBox aims to simplify insurance policy access for consumers by aggregating policy documents, regardless of carrier, in one centralized location.

McNealy’s appointment comes as phase two of the GloveBox app is under development and the vendor has secured multiple new insurance carrier clients, according to a GloveBox statement.
