GloveBox, a Denver-based InsurTech has announced that Scott McNealy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle in 2010), has joined its board of directors. GloveBox aims to simplify insurance policy access for consumers by aggregating policy documents, regardless of carrier, in one centralized location.

GloveBox brings an ultimate solution to an industry that is still adjusting to technology adoption through consumer education and accessibility.”
McNealy’s appointment comes as phase two of the GloveBox app is under development and the vendor has secured multiple new insurance carrier clients, according to a GloveBox statement.
