Snapsheet (Chicago) and claimtouch (New York) have launched an integration designed to bring contents claims intelligence directly into the Snapsheet Claims Platform.
The integration enables real-time data sharing between the platforms, according to a joint statement. The companies say the connection is intended to reduce touchpoints, manual tasks and handoffs in Coverage C property claims by delivering validated contents reports directly into the claims workflow.
Contents claims remain among the more manual parts of property claims handling, often requiring outside research, parallel systems, repeated handoffs and separate inventorying, pricing and settlement processes. claimtouch applies AI, machine learning and data validation to contents workflows from first notice of loss through inspection, inventory, pricing and settlement.
“As claims technology continues to demand more impactful layers of automation in tandem with stronger data transparency and aggregation, carriers can’t afford to take on added complexity, dependencies, or data inconsistencies to get it,” comments Bryan Quasthoff, Head of Commercial Operations, Snapsheet. “Partnerships like this one show how best-in-class technology for a nuanced function like contents claims can effectively plug right into a complete platform like Snapsheet.”
The companies say the integration is already supporting multiple P&C carriers using the Snapsheet Claims Platform, including Branch, Kingstone and Openly. That shared customer base helped lead to a direct integration between the two companies.
Under the integrated workflow, claimtouch picks up a Coverage C claim when it opens in Snapsheet and supports inventorying, pricing, adjudication and payment. The platform generates valuations tied to verifiable product listings and data-driven checks that can flag potential fraud, according to the statement.
Payments and supporting documentation then flow back into Snapsheet automatically. The companies say the approach can replace a multiday contents process with a review-and-approve workflow adjusters can complete without leaving Snapsheet.
Reducing Contents Claims Friction
Snapsheet and claimtouch say the relationship is intended to bring more automation to contents claims without adding fragmentation or data inconsistencies. The companies say carriers can use the integration to provide policyholders with a faster and more transparent contents experience while improving adjuster workflows.
“We are excited to partner with Snapsheet to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience for our mutual customers through enhanced integrations in the property and content claims workflow,” comments Markus Larsson, P&C Transformation, claimtouch. “Our mission is to enable adjusters to help policyholders recover faster—a commitment we share with Snapsheet.”
claimtouch provides an AI-native contents claims platform for inventory collection, valuation, settlement and claim resolution. Snapsheet provides a cloud-native claims platform for the P&C claims lifecycle.
