Silanis Launches e-SignLive for SharePoint

The solution makes it easy for Microsoft SharePoint users to securely sign and send documents for e-signature inside of SharePoint, preventing interruptions to business processes.

Silanis Technology has launched e-SignLive for SharePoint, which the Montreal-based vendor describes as the latest of its pre-integrated e-signature solutions. The solution makes it easy for Microsoft SharePoint users to securely sign and send documents for e-signature inside of SharePoint, preventing interruptions to business processes, according to Silanis.

Organizations use Microsoft SharePoint to organize, track and store documents and other content centrally, notes a Silanis statement. However, the statement adds, when it comes time for signatures or approvals on documents such as contracts, agreements and forms, the process often falls to paper, causing frustrating delays and additional costs. The e-signature capabilities added by the e-SignLive integration increase the productivity of SharePoint users, giving them the ability to quickly get documents signed by customers, partners, suppliers and employees, the Silanis statement says.

“Businesses often implement SharePoint for immediate needs such as document management and collaboration, to improve on what the business is doing today,” comments Michael Laurie, VP, product strategy, Silanis. “With business-critical integrations like e-SignLive for Microsoft SharePoint, they can enhance the tool for easier indexing, filing and retrieval.”

Laurie adds that the integration of e-SignLive to SharePoint has enabled Silanis customers to create sophisticated collaboration solutions that have helped them to speed up processing by 25 percent, eliminating document handling, including shipping and courier costs, while speeding up decision making.
