Sigo Seguros Builds Team with Key Hires

Sigo has named Brian Gonzalez as VP of Marketing and Oswaldo Zamarron as Customer Success Manager.

Sigo Seguros, an auto insurance provider serving the Spanish speaking community, has expanded its team with the hire of Brian Gonzalez as VP of Marketing and Oswaldo Zamarron as Customer Success Manager.

“Coming off the heels of our $1.5M funding round, we’re hyper-focused on continuing to increase awareness surrounding the disparate impact in auto insurance while finding new ways to reach and help our target customer,” comments Néstor Hugo Solari, Co-founder and CEO, Sigo Seguros. “With the strategic leadership of Brian and Oswaldo, we will undoubtedly be able to support more customers, and particularly those who are overlooked by traditional auto insurers.”

Gonzalez has more than a decade of experience leading the growth, public relations, and product marketing of emerging brands. Most recently he led marketing efforts at Humanyze (Boston), a workplace analytics software company, and played an integral role in their go-to-market strategy for their new product launch, according to a Sigo statement. Gonzalez’s prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Global Marketing and Communications at Berklee, where he led the launch of Berklee Latino across Latin America, Berklee India Exchange, and supported marketing efforts for Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain.

Non-Standard Auto Experience

Zamarron, joining Sigo Seguros as Customer Success Manager, brings a wealth of insurance expertise to the team, the Sigo statement says. He has several years of non-standard auto experience in Texas, and most recently served as a Senior Underwriting Manager with Acacia Insurance Managers (Frisco, Texas). Prior to that position, Zamarron was a Claim Adjuster with Bristol West Insurance Group (Plantation, Fla.). He has experience across several insurance functions, including claims, underwriting and customer service.
