Service Lloyds Insurance Company (Austin, Texas), a nationwide workers’ compensation insurer writing more than $250 million in annual premium, has selected Origami Risk’s (Chicago) Property/Casualty Insurance Solution Claims Suite for the accelerated nationwide implementation of a fully integrated, single platform for claims adjudication, reporting, and delivery of enhanced client services.

Jacob Clymer, COO, Service Lloyds.

  • Origami’s claims suite offers Service Lloyds a variety of tools and functionality to manage claims more efficiently and provide more robust services to agents, brokers and insureds. Origami describes the features as follows:
  • Easy to navigate dashboards that display complete and real-time information on the status of individual claims.
  • A mobile app that will provide claimants with ready access to timely information on various aspects of their claims, such as treatment schedules, provider locations, contact details, employer communications and contacts, which reduces the administrative burden on the Service Lloyds claims professionals.
  • Real-time connection with Service Lloyds’ EDI partner to ensure accurate submissions.
  • Dedicated secure portals for agents and insureds to access claim information related to their policies, including claim notes and related financial data.

“As we continue to expand our operations across the country, automating various elements of our claims administration process has been a priority for gaining efficiencies, enhancing service and overall increasing the client experience,” said Jacob Clymer, COO, Service Lloyds. “To this end, Origami is proving to be a valued partner by delivering and quickly implementing a full range of robust solutions that are difference makers not only for our internal claims teams, but also for agents, brokers, insureds, and injured workers.”

Christopher Bennett, President, Core Solutions division, Origami Risk.

“To meet Service Lloyds’ accelerated time frame, we leveraged Origami’s standard workers’ compensation claims administration package, which is configured for fast and efficient implementation and integrates with existing technology infrastructures,” comments Christopher Bennett, president, Core Solutions division, Origami Risk. “This package is one of several innovative solution sets we’ve developed to help carriers and other insurance providers drive efficiencies across critical functions, meet customer needs and improve overall performance.”

Through its Core Solutions division, Origami Risk says it offers an expanding list of property-casualty insurance carriers, managing general agents, program administrators, risk pools and third-party administrators a full suite of end-to-end, integrated software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for policy, billing, and claims administration, reporting and analytics. In addition to helping providers drive down operating costs, improve speed, efficiency and overall performance, Origami pitches its ability to provide a comprehensive digital engagement experience for all stakeholders, including adjusters, claimants, policyholders, brokers and agents.
