Sapiens International Corporation, (Holon, Israel), a provider of software solutions for the global insurance industry, has announced the general availability of its latest version of Sapiens IDITSuite for Property & Casualty for customers and property/casualty insurer worldwide. The new version core insurance processing suite features upgraded claims straight-through processing capabilities with automated claims triage and payments functionality.

Sapiens pitches IDITSuite’s new level of automation as freeing an insurer’s personnel to handle higher-value tasks. The suite’s new capabilities will allow carriers to reduce human error and introduce greater levels of automation via Sapiens’ business intelligence solution, according to the vendor. These capabilities are available through Sapiens’ customer and agent portal solutions, as well as the core system components.

Next Best Action

Sapiens reports that IDITSuite version 15.1 now also features “next best action” through the addition of a rules-driven engine. The suite can immediately identify the service provider best positioned to help insureds, the vendor says. For example, IDITSuite will factor in proximity, availability and required service type to help insureds select the optimal service garage following an accident.

Insurance agents with access to the capabilities of the upgraded suite will benefit from better distribution channel management, with noticeable improvement in intermediary statements, agent commission calculation and the assignment of agent tasks, the vendor asserts.
