Samsung Fire & Marine Optimizes Personal Auto Pricing with Earnix

Earnix impressed SFM with dynamic analytics solutions that align perfectly with the insurer’s current future pricing management and customer value needs, according to the insurer’s Auto Insurance Strategy Team Leader.

Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance Company Ltd. (SFM) has selected Earnix, a provider of integrated pricing and customer analytics, to enhance the Seoul, South Korea-based insurer’s pricing capabilities. SFM will use the Earnix Insurance solution to better understand its customers and improve pricing management capabilities for its personal auto business, according to a vendor statement.

SFM has entered a long-term partnership to implement the Earnix solution and work with the vendor to apply leading-edge pricing strategies in the future without reliance on external sources, the vendor statement reports.

During the selection process, Earnix impressed SFM with dynamic analytics solutions that align perfectly with the insurer’s current future pricing management and customer value needs, according to Sang Bong Lee, VP and Auto Insurance Strategy Team Leader, SFM. “We are confident that Earnix’s deep customer analytics will enable us to better serve our customers and make increasingly well-informed decisions in our auto business,” he comments. “Looking forward, we view Earnix as a long-term partner that will help us in advancing our pricing technology on an organization-wide level.”
