QBE Canada (Toronto), part of the QBE Group (Sydney), one of the world’s leading insurers and reinsurers with operations in 28 countries worldwide, has selected Novidea (London/Boston) to implement its cloud-native, data-driven insurance management platform, according to a vendor statement.

Ben Hunter, Director, Canada, QBE.

The implementation will foster QBE’s growth in Canada, an important market for growth for the insurer, the vendor statement notes. Novidea says its platform will enable QBE to scale its business and manage the end-to-end customer insurance journey and policy management, with seamless automated workflows across the entire insurance distribution.

Novidea says its quote and bind functionality will enable QBE to provide greater value and service to its customers. At the same time, workflow, automation of bordereaux, and Novidea’s integration capabilities will help to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and help drive optimization across the organization, the vendor says.

“We selected Novidea because of their expertise in delivering global solutions within the insurance industry, including working with Lloyd’s,” comments Ben Hunter, Director, Canada, QBE. “Their cloud-based platform’s end-to-end, data-driven capabilities will enable us to optimize our business processing whilst enhancing customer service.”
