Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE; White Plains, N.Y.), the member-owned property and casualty insurer designed for high-net-worth individuals and families,  is making the Phyn Plus water monitoring device available to its members at a discount.

Mariel Devesa, Global Head of Business Development, Phyn.

“We are committed to helping our members prevent loss by providing access to some of the best risk management solutions on the market, like Phyn,” comments Robert Jerram, AVP Risk Management Western Zone, PURE.

The Phyn Plus system is installed on a single location on the main water line and protects and monitors a home’s entire plumbing system by automatically detecting water leaks and plumbing issues, according to Phyn. In the event of a catastrophic leak, the device shuts off the main water supply to prevent costly damage. Phyn Plus can also warn homeowners before their pipes have a chance to freeze, mitigating a leading cause of water damage in cold climate homes. The device also monitors water use, giving homeowners unprecedented insight into their water consumption so they can conserve and save money.

Powerful Impact

“Phyn Plus will deliver a powerful impact, added security and peace of mind to PURE members across the board,” comments Mariel Devesa, Global Head of Business Development, Phyn. “Phyn will help protect against the colossal stresses and financial pitfalls of water damage. We are delighted to work with PURE and believe this highlights Phyn’s position as the most trusted and reliable smart water solution for homeowners.”
