ProSight Taps iPartners for BI and Data Warehouse

N.J.-based specialty carrier identifies iPartner offering as proven solution characterized by quick implementation, intuitive use, high flexitility and self-service reporting capabilities.

ProSight Specialty Insurance (Morristown, N.J.) has selected iPartners’ business intelligence (BI) and data warehouse solution. The iPartners offering will support ProSight’s strategic growth plans by consolidating data from multiple ProSight sources, along with what the vendor describes as extensive BI and analytics capabilities.

“ProSight sought a proven solution characterized by quick implementation, intuitive use, high flexibility and self-service reporting capabilities,” comments Mark Popolano, CIO, ProSight. “The iPartners solution was attractive to us given the company’s reputation for setting achievable expectations and delivering as promised. In addition, the efficiency of SaaS delivery coupled with the system’s P&C-specific content and packaging, influenced our decision greatly.”

Mature cloud offerings mitigate the delivery risks associated with complex integrations, adds Popolano. Designed on the premise of a metadata enterprise data warehouse, the iPartners solution allows for rapid integration of disparate data sources that can be viewed through a number of preconfigure and rapidly developed dashboards, according to the ProSight CIO. “This flight-to-speed in the BI space eliminates the complexity and costs associated with establishing standard enterprise data warehouses and reporting facilities for both internal and external customers,” he comments.

Benefits of the solution, according to an iPartners statement include the following:

  • Consolidated data, providing consistent management information for all users;
  • Improved data management, business analytics and decision making to better support ProSight’s growth strategy and overall business risk;
  • Consistent report development process, with improved dfinitions and automated calculations; and
  • Common tools for all business units and offices.
