PMA Insurance Group, a Blue Bell, Pa.-based insurer marketing workers’ compensation and other P&C lines, has selected OneShield Billing as the target platform for consolidating its existing billing platforms to enhance its billing capabilities and build in flexibility for innovation, according to a vendor statement.
“OneShield Billing provides PMA the ability to adapt the premium billing system to accommodate changing business models and reduce current manual process with features available from both processing and workflow perspectives,” comments Susan Hendricks, VP, Information Systems. “OneShield has a long-standing relationship with PMA, and they have knowledge of PMA’s current premium billing processes along with an understanding of PMA as an organization.”
The vendor describes OneShield Billing as a complete billing and receivables system for P&C insurers across all commercial, personal and specialty lines that simplifies and automates every stage of the billing cycle, from processing invoices and reconciliations through to creating tasks and detailed reporting. The system is designed specifically for enterprises handling complex payable and receivable transactions. The configurability of OneShield Billing empowers companies like PMA to design their own workflows and automate manual tasks throughout the billing lifecycle, the vendor says.
