Pekin Life Insurance Company (Pekin, Ill.) has licensed iPipeline (Exton, Pa.) solutions to create a digital buying and selling experience for its independent agent partners. The insurer will use iPipeline’s integrated quoting, illustrations, and iGO e-App solutions to streamline and automate the selling of life, pre-need, and Medicare supplement products and to improve the consumer buying experience, according to the vendor.
Pekin Life made a strategic decision to create a “digital journey” for selling its diversified insurance products, but it first needed a partner whose vision for the industry was in line with its strategic objectives, according to Diane Steiner, VP, Life Underwriting, Pekin Life Insurance Company. “Throughout the RFP process, iPipeline demonstrated the critical thinking to carve out the optimal solution set to meet our needs,” Steiner comments.
