Pegasystems Names Jeff Taylor SVP of Strategy and Go-To-Market Operations

Taylor has 20 years of experience focused on go-to-market and sales approaches as well as building and executing successful business models for B2B technology organizations.

Pegasystems Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) has appointed Jeff Taylor as senior VP of strategy and go-to-market operations. In this newly created senior role, Taylor will oversee all aspects of Pega’s go-to-market strategy to meet its growth goals and drive leadership in software for digital transformation, according to the vendor. Taylor will report to Alan Trefler, Pega’s founder and CEO, and be based out of the company’s Cambridge headquarters.

Taylor was most recently a partner at Bain & Company (Boston), where he helped define and execute go-to-market transformations for clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications verticals. Taylor earlier held senior strategy and operational roles at technology companies, including VMware and EMC. “In these roles, he led transitions to new go-to-market models that drove company growth,” the Pega statement says.

Taylor holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University with concentrations in economics and theology, and received a Master’s in Business Administration in strategy and finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
