Origami Risk, a Chicago-based risk, safety and insurance Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, has announced the appointment of Joe Cannon as VP of Sales for the firm’s Core Solutions division, which serves insurers, risk pools, third party administrators (TPAs), and managing general agents (MGAs).
Cannon, who brings extensive sales leadership experience with prominent technology firms serving the insurance industry, will help Origami expand the presence of its multi-tenant core system capabilities for policy, billing and claims among U.S. property and casualty insurers, according to an Origami statement.

Cannon joins Origami Risk after serving as senior VP of Sales at FINEOS, where he helped to integrate Limelight Health following its acquisition in 2020. Previously, he held sales leadership positions at several vendors serving the insurance carrier market, including VP of Sales Strategy and Customer Success at Duck Creek; VP of Global Sales at One Inc.; senior VP, Global Sales at Enservio; and senior director of Sales at Guidewire, focusing on the insurer carrier market throughout the Americas.
