Origami Risk (Chicago) has introduced Insurance Program Management capabilities within its Risk Management Information System (RMIS) solution. The new functions are designed to connect policy, placement, quote, endorsement and analytics workflows within the RMIS platform.

Peter Richard, Director of Product Management, Origami Risk.

Origami says the capabilities are now available to clients. The release describes insurance program management as an area where data is often spread across PDFs, spreadsheets, emails and broker systems.

“Risk teams are skilled at managing complex insurance programs,” comments Peter Richard, Director of Product Management, Origami Risk. “Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the tools they often rely on. As a result, critical data ends up fragmented across spreadsheets and systems that were not designed to work together. Insurance Program Management unifies policy data, renewal workflows, and analytics in one platform so teams can focus on strategy and decisions rather than chasing down information.”

Reduced Administrative Work, Improved Data Quality

The new capabilities include AI-powered policy data ingestion, which extracts structured data from policy documents. Origami says the function is intended to reduce administrative work, improve data quality and accelerate access to policy information.

The offering also includes insurance portfolio dashboards for program analytics, key performance indicator visualizations and drill-down navigation. Placement management capabilities centralize renewals and placements in one workspace, including tasks, documents, communications and quote activity.

Origami says the quote tracking and comparison tools allow organizations to evaluate options side by side before binding and retain historical quote data. Endorsement tracking provides a structured process for managing midterm policy changes and reviewing financial and operational effects across programs and policies.
