ERGO NEXT Insurance (Palo Alto, Calif.), formerly known as NEXT Insurance, has introduced a new brand identity that reflects its next phase of growth as a national digital insurer for small businesses. The rebrand follows the company’s acquisition by ERGO Group AG (Düsseldorf, Germany), the primary insurance arm of Munich Re, and brings the NEXT name into visual alignment with its parent company.
ERGO NEXT serves more than 750,000 small business customers and will continue to operate as a digital-first carrier, offering coverages including general liability, business owner’s policy, workers’ compensation, and professional liability. The new brand identity is now live on ERGO NEXT’s website and digital channels, with a broader rollout planned in the coming months.
“By visually aligning our brands, we’re ensuring our identity reflects both the strong foundation of ERGO and Munich Re and the digital-first experience that NEXT brings to small commercial insurance,” says Joon-Soo Kim, VP, Marketing, ERGO NEXT.
Renewed Focus on Serving Agents and Small Business Owners
The rebrand also signals a renewed focus on serving agents and small business owners with speed, simplicity, and long-term support, according to Effi Fuks-Leichtag, Chief Product Officer.
“With ERGO’s backing, we’re focused on accelerating how we build and scale our platform so agents and small businesses can move faster, plan further ahead and grow on a foundation designed for the long term,” she says.
ERGO NEXT says it will continue to invest in AI, machine learning, and 24/7 digital servicing tools as it works to deepen agent partnerships and reinforce its position in the small commercial insurance market.
