FMG (Farmers Mutual Group; Palmerston North), New Zealand’s leading rural insurer has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management center, as well as Guidewire Claim Portal for Vendors. The carrier previously deployed Guidewire’s PolicyCenter and BillingCenter for all lines of business.

“We selected ClaimCenter for a number of reasons,” reports Geoff Yeats, general manager of Business Information Services, FMG. “Following on from our positive experiences with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, the adoption of ClaimCenter will help us to continue to enhance our client’s service experience and employee satisfaction. Smart tools for smart people.”

Specific benefits FMG will enjoy from the new claims platform include the following, according to the vendor:

  • Leverage industry claims management best practices;
  • Implement a modern platform to improve the overall claims experience for policyholders; and
  • Obtain better visibility into claims handling operations.

“We enjoy our relationship with FMG and look forward to our continued work together as FMG transforms its claims operations,” comments Ian Tavener, VP, Asia Pacific Operations, Guidewire Software. “We admire FMG’s commitment to providing exceptional service to clients through an improved employee experience supported by Guidewire.”
