“Today’s insurance innovators understand the importance of simplifying and streamlining policyholder communications,” comments Reynolds C. Bish, VP, Lexmark International and president, Lexmark Enterprise Software. “By leveraging advanced Kofax customer communications, mobile capture and e-signature solutions, insurers have the means to meet customer expectations with anytime, anywhere access to information and capabilities that enable policyholders to conduct business on their own terms.”

The vendor describes the enhanced versions of the Kofax products as follows:

Kofax Customer Communications Manager enables insurance organizations to make the shift from print to digital communications. Customer Communications Manager is designed to effectively create and manage high volume batch documents like renewal and billing notices as well as on-demand, interactive agent and policyholder communications—with minimal IT effort. The latest version of Kofax Customer Communications Manager provides a scalable solution that can easily support new business, underwriting, claims and policy maintenance. Customer Communications Manager allows business users to create consistent, compliant document packages in both print and digital formats.

Kofax Mobile Capture Platform, with market leading on-device OCR, turns mobile phones into real-time information capture devices. Whether capturing information to request a quote or submit a claim, the Kofax Mobile Capture Platform allows insurers to meet customers “where they are” and on their schedule. The Kofax Mobile Capture Platform is supported by Kofax Analytics for Mobile, built on Kofax Insight which is the first solution to provide pre-built analytics dashboards for instant insight into mobile user engagement.

Kofax SignDoc software enables insurers to offer a fully-digital, streamlined and secure signing experience for onboarding policyholders, approving insurance quotes, and executing policy maintenance transactions. Enhancements to Kofax SignDoc 2.0 include in-person signing capabilities, multi-factor authentication, and a new responsive user interface for better user experience. These features accelerate and simplify the signing experience, and instill consumer confidence in electronic transactions.

Lexmark characterizes the above solutions as tightly integrated into the Kofax TotalAgility smart process application platform. The vendor asserts that TotalAgility combines award-winning capture, process management, data integration, mobile, e-signature, customer communications management and analytics capabilities into a unified platform for developing and deploying smart process applications and enabling digital transaction management.
