Verisk Insurance Solutions (Jersey City, N.J.) has launched the ISO ClaimSearch mobile application. The new app will allow users to securely access the Claims Inquiry function on ISO ClaimSearch through the iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets, according to the vendor.

Users of the app can customize results by claim characteristics, map loss locations, scan VIN barcodes to initiate searches, and call an adjuster directly from a matching claim a Verisk Insurance Solutions statement adds. The mobile app also enables users to conduct an inquiry on an individual, vehicle, VIN, or loss location when they need an immediate answer to facilitate faster claims handling.

“The app will provide our subscribers with a new, intuitive productivity tool to arm their adjusters and investigators with real-time access to the property/casualty industry’s premier and only comprehensive database of claims,” comments Carlos Martins, VP, president and general manager of ISO ClaimSearch Solutions.  “ISO ClaimSearch mobile users will see instant search results to help them investigate and adjust claims more efficiently, whether they’re on a roof, in a salvage yard, in a home, at a business, or at a catastrophe site.”

Larger ISO ClaimSearch Project

Verisk reports that ISO ClaimSearch Solutions developed the app as part of a larger project to transform ISO ClaimSearch. The vendor’s stated goal is to create an intuitively designed, robust system that will offer cutting-edge solutions fully integrated throughout the life of a claim. Those enhancements are intended to empower insurers to use critical data and analytics in making the best decisions to achieve lower claim severity, reduce expenses, fulfill compliance, and improve customer service, the vendor says.
