Global IQX (Ottawa), a provider of employee benefits automation software, has debuted an application that integrates the vendor’s Salesforce.com-based sales-management software with the Global IQX Sales and Underwriting Workbench. The vendor reports that its Salesforce’s portal functionality now includes new-business, rating, renewal, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
“As insurers and brokers continue to rely on CRM systems to manage their business, integration with their quoting capabilities is a logical next step,” comments Tom Scales, research director, Celent. “Global IQX’s out-of-the-box integration with Salesforce meets the industry’s demand to further streamline the business process.”
As a result of the integration prospect, distribution-channel and client data can now be shared between Salesforce and all Global IQX components, according to an IQX statement. The vendor says that sales managers, underwriters and other new-business participants can thus create, manage and report all new opportunities in a streamlined way. Fields can be configured and information passed seamlessly between Salesforce and the Sales and Underwriting Workbench, the statement adds.
