Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (Columbus, Ohio) has expanded its relationship with Guidewire Software (Foster City, Calif.) by selecting the complete set of vendor’s Digital Portals. The insurer selected Guidewire Account Management Portal for Policyholders, Quote and Buy Portal for Policyholders, Gateway Portal for Agents, and Claim Portal for Vendors to accelerate and augment the implementation of their aggressive digital strategy. Nationwide is in production with Guidewire’s ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter.

Nationwide will be able to do the following through Guidewire Digital Portals, according to the vendor:
- Empower agents, policyholders and vendors with self-service claim, policy servicing and quoting capabilities;
- Increase website traffic and better compete in the market; and
- Improve market responsiveness and lower total cost of ownership.
