Mutual of Enumclaw (Enumclaw, Wash.) has named Joe Peterson Vice President of Claims and Chief Claims Officer.
Peterson joins Mutual of Enumclaw with more than 20 years of claims leadership experience. He most recently served as VP, P&C Claims, Zenith Insurance Company (Woodland Hills, Calif.), where he was responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the company’s agribusiness claims organization.

Peterson previously held senior leadership roles at Zenith, including AVP and Director of Casualty Claims, with oversight of complex casualty and litigation portfolios. Earlier in his career, he held multiple claims leadership positions at Nationwide Insurance (Columbus, Ohio), where he built and led claims teams and reinforced technical excellence, according to a Mutual of Enumclaw statement.
