Millennial Shift Technologies (Phoenix) has collaborated with HSB (Hartford), part of Munich Re, to make the HSB TotalCyber product available on the mShift platform, expanding digital access to cyber coverage for brokers.
HSB TotalCyber includes first- and third-party coverage, risk management tools, and breach-response services for small and midsize businesses. Through the mShift platform, brokers can quote and initiate policies digitally using embedded eligibility checks, prefilled data, and appetite alignment—all within a single submission process that reduces manual entry and accelerates time-to-bind, according to a statement from Millennial Shift Technologies.
“We are excited to partner with mShift to first bring our admitted cyber capabilities, and soon our non-admitted capabilities, to their digital platform, enabling our clients greater access to critical cyber coverages with ease,” says Dan Law, HSB’s head of cyber.
Smarter Insurance Ecosystem
“This collaboration with HSB is another step toward realizing our vision for a smarter, more connected insurance ecosystem,” says Mark Meury, CEO, Millennial Shift Technologies. “By bringing HSB TotalCyber onto the mShift platform, we’re not just streamlining transactions—we’re helping redefine how cyber insurance is accessed, delivered, and experienced across the market.”
The integration allows brokers to retain broker-of-record status and existing underwriter relationships, while enabling real-time application tracking, faster requotes, and accelerated policy binding. Submissions requiring support are processed within 24 to 48 hours.
Millennial Shift Technologies provides digital infrastructure for submission, quoting, and placement across cyber and specialty lines. HSB is a multi-line specialty insurer with an A++ (Superior) rating from A.M. Best and a focus on engineering-driven risk management solutions.
