MetLife Expands Use of Sprout.ai to Boost Claims Automation

The insurer will extend AI-powered claims automation across operations in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America.

MetLife (New York) had expanded its partnership with Sprout.ai (London) to accelerate claims automation across its operations in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America. The insurer aims to accuracy, speed and the overall customer experience. MetLife first engaged Sprout.ai in 2023.

Sprout.ai integrates artificial intelligence into insurers’ existing systems to automate claims decisions. The technology is designed to increase speed and accuracy while supporting customer experience. MetLife reports that the expansion follows initial deployments in Latin America, where the solution has improved turnaround times, decision accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
