MetLife Group (New York) will deploy tools from Munich Re Automation Solutions’ (Dublin) automated underwriting solution ALLFINANZ in Brazil as part of the insurer’s ongoing global relationship with the Munich Re InsurTech subsidiary. MetLife is Munich Re Automation Solutions’ third customer in the Brazil region, underlining the importance of the South American market to the vendor.
“We are excited to partner with Munich Re Automation Solutions for their innovative and custom-made solutions for more efficient and customer-focused underwriting,” Mariana Pellegrin, AVP of Operations, MetLife. “Through the combination of leading technology and underwriting expertise these tools provide, we will be very well positioned to continue our successful path in providing superior service to our customers and partners.”
This new agreement between the parties will extend over five years, giving MetLife’s consultants, planners, and other third-party clients in Brazil access to various modules from Munich Re Automation Solutions’ suite of automated underwriting and advanced analytics tools, including the ALLFINANZ Interview Server, a Munich Re Automation Solutions statement says. “This points to a growing demand for faster and more accurate quotes through data-driven and cloud-based solutions, with a flexible underwriting process that is tailored to the needs of a wide variety of clients,” the statement adds. “The ALLFINANZ tools will allow MetLife to streamline and simplify their underwriting process for their Brazilian client base, and increase underwriting consistency and accuracy of risk assessments by having an intuitive interview and including real time information.”
Supporting Growing Needs Globally
“As we continue to expand our reach in the South American market overall, and in Brazil specifically, we’re pleased to provide more customer-centric solutions and to simplify the underwriting process for customers through technological cloud-based tools,” comments Colm Kennedy, Chief Product Officer, Americas, Munich Re Automation Solutions. “We are excited to expand our relationship with MetLife through our new partnership in this region and are excited to support their growing needs globally.”
