Mercury Insurance Launches AgentCenter Point of Sale Software for Agents in Georgia

AgentCenter is designed to streamline the policy quote and bind process, reducing the time it takes to write a new policy by at least 60 percent.

Mercury Insurance, a Los Angeles-based multiline insurer, has announced the launch of “AgentCenter,” a new point of sale software application for its agents in Georgia. The AgentCenter is designed to accelerate agents’ time from quote to bound policies. AgentCenter is currently available to agents in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia.

Mercury developed AgentCenter in-house with a cross-functional team with professionals from underwriting, claims and IT, and input from independent agents. The company says its aim was “to create the industry’s most intuitive point of sales system.” Mercury lists features of the new system designed to benefit agents:

  • Little-to-no training needed by agent staff due to intuitive navigation;
  • Pre-populated third-party reports and data;
  • If the quoted rate changes, agents will know why and how on one easy-to-read screen;
  • One-screen workflows for simple policy updates;
  • Ability to view vehicle coverages side-by-side on a single screen; and
  • Significant time savings for quote to bound policies.

Visually Pleasing, Smooth Flow

Mercury offers auto, home, renters, umbrella and business auto insurance policies that included features such as ride-sharing coverage, accident forgiveness, service line protection, home systems protection and home cyber protection.
