Maryland Automobile Insurance Drives Transformation with Majesco Suite, Services

Maryland Auto Insurance (MAI, Baltimore) has implemented Majesco (Morristown, N.J.) as part of an initiative to transform its business through enhanced customer service based on real-time policy capabilities. The carrier has adopted the Majesco P&C Suite and Majesco Bureau and Content Services for its commercial auto line of business.

The Majesco capabilities enable real-time policy issuance, as compared to days in the carrier’s legacy environment. The new technology also gives MAI agents real-time access to print policy documents.

The implementation included quoting, rating using ISO ERC, underwriting, policy management, billing, document generation/management, and program-based underwriting, according to a vendor statement. MAI will use Majesco’s Bureau and Content Services, using ISO (Jersey City, N.J.) ERC, to automate and integrats ISO content as well as execute updates designed to significantly improve speed to market, quality and compliance.
