French mutual insurer Groupe Macif (MACIF, Paris) has selected Guidewire Software’shttp://iireporter.com/could-an-insurance-company-become-the-next-sears/ InsurancePlatform, delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution via Guidewire Cloud. Identifying MACIF as the first Guidewire Cloud customer in France and Europe, the vendor says the insurer selected InsurancePlatform to replace its legacy systems and transform its entire book of business, as well as to enable new partnerships with white-labeling capabilities. Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting alliance member, GFT (Stuttgart, Germany), has been selected to support MACIF’s implementation program.

The company also chose Guidewire DataHub and Guidewire InfoCenter for enterprise-wide data management and business intelligence. MACIF has also selected Guidewire EnterpriseEngage to support omnichannel digital service to its customers and vendors.

Guidewire InsurancePlatform will enable MACIF to the following, by the vendor’s description:
